Wightslayer; Day 1.
Well, I started today. Got bored. >100 SCs done, at my current floor I only have 250~ SCs left. Not too bad, I could unlock it tomorrow if I wanted. If I don't have the time I may just proceed with my static up a bit. If I manage floor 80 I'll only need 74 more SCs. Pretty good time, imo. Expiacion, here I come~!
Good day in Nyzul.
So, I happen to go with my linkshell to do a floor 40 run. Figured maybe I'd get lucky and get a Wightslayer. Well, my intentions after getting DRK to 75 was to get NIN and DRG.
I've broken a Sturdy Axe and Windslicer already. That's 2/3rds of my 75 jobs. Tonight...
Wightslayer
Sasuke Katana
All I need now is a Radiant Lance and DRK's Scythe. Awesome.
Whooooo~.
First post in a long time. Dunno what to say--owait I started writing another story;
This is what I got of the Intro so far to "Rebirth and Lightning":
(Kirin and Phoenix are twin brothers, they do absolutely everything together; they always have and they always will. Growing up they always understood that they were different, now in their freshman year of high school they realize exactly why. One day during a drill, Phoenix's life is put in danger when a strange man (and company) holds the entire school hostage in their auditorium. The man holds a gun to his head, and fires off the gun; from there everything becomes unexplainable.)
------
The familiar buzz of the intercom rang through the school, and I looked up from my book; "For this drill please report to the Auditorium instead of outside." Not too soon after the alarm went off. To be honest, I'm tired of these lame drills and it looks like Phoenix is, too. Oh right - Phoenix is my twin brother. He's pretty good looking, but of course not as good looking as I am. Generally the ladies are more interested in my blue eyes as opposed to his garnet, not to mention his black hair is starting to get a little long and it's pretty disheveled. I, however, keep my platinum-white hair spiked back and neat. Oh, the tattoo of a lightning streak that I have under my right eye, in blue, gets them too.
Don't get me started on how messy he is; how untidy looking he is. Him and his black coat, and red undershirt and those...torn jeans. Oh - if you hadn't guessed we have two entirely different tastes. On the more appropriate side, I dress in a white dress shirt and black jeans. Sometimes I'll pop on a tie. Anyway~, back on task! The alarm here is pretty annoying, it feels like it's splitting my head when it goes off.
The halls were pretty crowded on the way to the auditorium, by the time we got in there and were all seated I hadn't even begun to wonder why we went here instead. I got seperated by Phoenix, he ended up sitting two rows ahead of me in the front but that was okay we hung out with relatively different crowds anyway.
Before I knew it the Principal was on the auditorium stage, asking us to quiet down. "Now if you'll all listen up please," It wasn't like him to sound so polite, "Please everyone, listen." The whole lot of us quieted down, none of us being used to this sporadic politeness. "Now, there are a couple things I'd like to go over." That's when we started back up again, no one cares that much about this school, only the administration.
There was a loud bang, and the Principal fell over into his own pile of blood - leaking from the new hole in his head. It was a horrifying sight, and everyone gasped and quieted for the last time. We all looked behind us when the doors slammed shut, but our eyes were drawn back to the stage when we heard an unfamiliar voice over the microphone, "Well, your job is done here Mr. Principal - it seems only at the end were you able to control your students."
The strange man was holding a pistol with a rather large barrel, and while all the students were panicked he seemed as though he were right at home in this setting. I panicked looking for my brother in that first row, he was no more than fifteen feet from this man. I knew I shouldn't have woken up this morning, that we shouldn't have gone to school. I knew today was a bad day when the cap to the toothpaste fell down the sink. He spoke again, every soul in the auditorium listened, "The authorities didn't believe I had hostages. seems I've proved them wrong, didn't I?" There was something majorly wrong with this guy. "They don't seem to be taking me seriously so I'm going to have to kill one or two of you. Just so that they know."
Could he be serious? There was absolutely no way, but he began walking towards the front row. My heart stopped racing when I realized he was walking in the opposite direction of my brother. That's when I heard it; bzzzt bzzzt bzzzt. So did he, he started to walk toward my brother.

(Phoenix)
My adrenaline started to pump, my heart skipped a few beats; bzzzt bzzzt bzzzt. I looked forward; it was my friend's pager next to me. Shit, shit shit. He definitely heard it. The man started to walk over toward us. "So, think you're going to get intouch with someone outside here, huh? Don't you?" There was no response. "You better answer me, punk." He wasn't talking to my friend; he was talking to me.
"N-no. T-that wasn't me." He shook his head in disbelief. One of his men came up next to him.
"Boss, don't you think that the Principal was enough to get them to listen?"
Oh...he didn't like that. His head turned slowly, "Excuse me? Is this coming from the man who couldn't scramble the signal so these young kids couldn't call out?" I realized then, that was why it had gone off - he didn't have a cellphone like they thought. His pager was almost prehistoric and ran off a different signal than our cellphones do now.
"U-uh I'm just saying that--" It was all over, in the time it took me to blink, there was red splattered onto the floor beside the stage.
"And I'm just saying that, I don't need you anymore."
